Hennepin Avenue is under construction
Hello friends of Phoenix Theater! The construction is done for the season! I’m sure it will start up again in the Spring, but for now we are good to go.
We will be open for public and private events throughout the construction!
Current Road Conditions
Construction has started again for the season. Hennepin Ave is closed in both directions from 26th St through Franklin St. If you’re coming to the theater from the North (or from I94) your best route is to drive south on Lyndale Ave to 26th St, then turn right (west) to Hennepin Ave.
Parking Recommendations
Parking is once again allowed on Hennepin Ave, but it is now metered. There’s a four-hour maximum, so you should be fine for one standard-length event, but if you’re seeing more or here for a longer event, you may want to look on the side streets.
Loading In and Out for producers
Hennepin Ave is open in front of Phoenix. So you can load either through the front (no stairs) or the back (shorter path). Your choice!
