Elision Playhouse is a multi-use space that includes a black box and cabaret space available for rental. We pride ourselves on being a small space with strong technology, including an LED lighting system, 32 channel sound mixer, and projection screen. We are an intimate and affordable venue committed to the oral narrative arts - primarily, storytelling, poetry, spoken word, singer/songwriters - but we have also hosted comedy and dance on our 8x8' stage. We offer online and in person classes (both storytelling and poetry), curated performances as well as FREE author readings on the first Monday of the Month, a storytelling open mic on the third and a poetry open mic on the fourth Monday of the month.

Red Eye cultivates collective cultures through the creation and sharing of live performance. Artist-led and collectively organized, we steward a space in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis. Red Eye has a curated rental program, which has an annual application period, typically open in the summer and booking up to two years out.

Two spaces, seats 125-256, located in North Minneapolis
The recently renovated, expanded Capri is a wonderful, welcoming theater and gathering place in North Minneapolis. We're here to provide the Northside and metro-wide community with countless opportunities to experience and produce art, to create and implement ideas, and to Be Together. We have 7 unique, rentable spaces in the building: The Capri Theater and the Paradise Community Hall (per above); the Broadway Rehearsal Room (with sprung dance floor); the Long Conference Room; 2 classroom spaces, and the Capri Plaza (outdoors). All of these spaces can be rented singularly or in combination with others (e.g. for a full-day conference with main meeting rooms and break-outs. Our large, first-floor, glass-lined lobbies (one includes an art gallery) can also be rented separately.
